It all started as a small boy growing up in a household full of training equipment, weights, skipping ropes and a punching bag. I would see my father wake up every morning and train. I am told that I jogged with him as well. I then developed an interest in training as a whole, from road running, picking up weights and punching the bag.
I remember the first time I picked up weights, the next day was not pretty at all. I experienced aches and pains I had never experienced before. I literally cried. Yes I said it, “I cried”. My father then said in order to ease the aches and pains I had to go back to the very same activity that had initially caused it. Apparently, that was the only way to recover. So I did just that and the rest is history.
